Psychotherapy Session
What it is
Psychotherapy is longer clinical work on the patterns that keep returning: the reaction that arrives before you have decided to have it, the situation that recurs with different people in it, the belief about yourself that you can argue against while still living as though it were true.
50 minutes · weekly to start · online · English or Romanian · €85 per session
These patterns usually formed for good reasons, often early, and they were adaptive in the environment that produced them. The work is understanding how yours were built, recognising them while they are happening, and building enough room between the trigger and the response that you can choose differently. This takes time, because a pattern that took years to form changes through repetition as much as through insight.
When psychotherapy is the right fit
Psychotherapy suits you when a difficulty has a history behind it, when the same dynamic appears across relationships that have nothing else in common, when there is trauma in the picture, when anxiety or low mood has become the background of your life, or when you have already tried the practical solutions and the thing underneath them has stayed where it was.
It also suits people who have done counselling or coaching, found it useful, and reached the point where good advice keeps arriving and keeps failing to stick, which is usually a sign that the obstacle sits deeper than the advice.
Where a difficulty is recent, situational, and clearly bounded, psychological counselling is the lighter and more appropriate frame, and we will say so if that is what we hear in the first conversation.
How it works
Sessions last 50 minutes, usually weekly at the start, online, in English or Romanian. We set an initial frame of a defined number of sessions, review it together at fixed points, and continue or close on the basis of what has actually changed.
Before the first session you complete a set of questionnaires in the OmniBloom app, and you repeat them at each review point, so that the change becomes visible to both of you. Between sessions the app holds the worksheets and small experiments you agree on, with gentle email reminders if you want them.
The approaches we work in
Every therapist at OmniBloom works in a defined modality, so you always know what is being done and why.
Cognitive-behavioural therapy works with the links between situations, thoughts, emotions, and behaviour, including experiments that test a belief against real experience. Schema therapy extends this into the early patterns underneath, working with the modes a person moves between and where each one came from. Transactional Analysis works with the inner states a person speaks from and the repeating transactions those states create with other people, which makes relational patterns unusually visible.
How it connects to everything else
Where it helps and where you agree to it, your therapist can bring in a physician, a nutritionist, or a movement specialist for a specific question, since sleep, food, and the body often carry part of what therapy works on.
Confidentiality
What you say in therapy stays in therapy. Your therapist discusses you with another OmniBloom specialist only with your explicit agreement, given case by case, and any evaluation data is held under a unique code. The limits are the standard clinical ones, meaning immediate risk to your life or to someone else's, and they are explained in full in the first session so that nothing about them is a surprise later.
Who you would work with
We match you with the therapist who fits what you bring, with the reasoning behind the suggestion, because the fit between a person and a therapist predicts outcome more reliably than a biography does.
Gina Enache is a clinical psychologist and cognitive-behavioural psychotherapist, working in English and Romanian, with CBT, schema therapy, and body-oriented methods in her practice.
Laura Stoia-Djeska is a psychotherapist working in Transactional Analysis, with substantial experience in group therapy alongside her individual work.
Before your first session
If this is your first time with us, we recommend starting with the free 15-minute fit call or the discovery call, so that we can match you well and send you the right questionnaires beforehand. If you already know us, you can book your session directly here.
