Psychological Counselling

€85.00

What it is

Psychological counselling is structured conversation about a situation you are in now, with a psychologist who helps you understand what is happening, what is holding it in place, and what can realistically change.

50 minutes · online · English or Romanian · €85 per session

The focus stays on the present. You bring a difficulty whose shape you can describe, such as a decision you keep postponing, a conflict that repeats at work, a period of exhaustion, a loss, a transition, or a stretch of feeling flat without knowing why. Together you map what feeds it, including the parts that sit outside you, so that you leave each session with a clearer understanding and with something specific to try before the next one.

Most work of this kind takes between four and twelve sessions. We agree the shape at the start and revisit it as we go, so that the number of sessions follows what your situation actually asks for.

When counselling is the right fit

Counselling suits you when the difficulty is identifiable and relatively recent, when you are functioning and want to function better, or when you want a professional view on something before deciding what to do about it. It also works well as a first step when you are unsure whether you need longer therapeutic work, since a few sessions usually make that clear.

When a difficulty has a long history, when the same pattern appears across very different relationships, when trauma is involved, or when symptoms weigh heavily on daily life, psychotherapy is the more appropriate frame, and we will tell you so in the first conversation. Where a difficulty is largely physiological, we will point you toward nutritional counselling or a medical assessment, which can run alongside the psychological work.

What happens in the first session

Before the first session you receive a short set of questionnaires in the OmniBloom app, which give your psychologist a picture of where you are starting from and save time in the room. The first session is spent understanding what brings you, agreeing what you want to be different, and setting the frame for the work together. At the end you leave with a first step and with a clear idea of how many sessions we expect to need.

How it connects to everything else

Counselling at OmniBloom sits inside a coordinated model, so where it is useful and where you agree to it, your psychologist can bring in a physician, a nutritionist, or a movement specialist for a specific question. Sleep, food, training load, and the state of your relationships all shape what a psychological difficulty costs you, and having them looked at properly often moves the work forward faster.

Confidentiality

What you say in counselling stays between you and your psychologist. Nothing is shared with another OmniBloom specialist without your explicit agreement, which you give case by case, and any questionnaire data is stored under a unique code. The limits are the standard clinical ones, meaning immediate risk to your life or to someone else's, and they are explained in the first session.

Who you would work with

We match you with the psychologist who fits what you bring, with a short explanation of why, because the fit between a person and a practitioner tells us more than a biography can.

Gina Enache is a clinical psychologist and cognitive-behavioural psychotherapist, and the founder of OmniBloom. She works in English and Romanian.

Laura Stoia-Djeska is a psychotherapist working in Transactional Analysis, with substantial group experience alongside her individual practice.

Neurodiversity and synesthesia coaching

Maike Preißing offers psychological coaching for neurodivergent people and synesthetes, in English and German, through her own practice at maikepreissing.com. She holds an M.Sc. in psychology, works as a neurodiversity coach, and co-facilitates OmniBloom's neurodivergent programs and retreats.

Coaching helps you navigate your life as it is, including the practical and identity questions that come with a neurodivergent profile, while psychotherapy treats clinical difficulty within a therapeutic frame. If you want coaching, her page is the place to start, and if you want counselling or psychotherapy, write to us.

Before your first session

If this is your first time with us, we recommend starting with the free 15-minute fit call or the discovery call, so that we can match you well and send you the right questionnaires beforehand. If you already know us, you can book your session directly here.
